Applique Applique Applique

So I have decided that if it stops moving long enough, I am going to put an applique on it!  I love putting colors together and making something POP

Fabric Purses

So I have been working on a trying to get the perfect purse made.  So far, not too bad.  I made the owl purse for Lana's birthday and I am keeping the other one.  Trying to decide if it I should make them to sell.

Stuff for Lana's Boys

I've been working on a few things for those sweet little boys from NEW YORK as they are now sharing a room and wanted to go with space and robots.  It was a lot of fun!!!

Princess

I decided it was time to add something for the little girls.  This is one that I have never tried before and I really like the way it turned out.  I used batting to plump it up and just put my favorite fabrics together.

Fun with quilting scraps

As a quilter, I have loads of scraps and love to put unusual colors together.  This is a set of coasters that I think is a great hostess gift.  I bought some cloth coasters several years ago and they are by far my favorite ones to use as they do not stick to your cup like the ceramic ones do.  They are also machine washable.  I used the same pattern on both sides which was just one to two inch strips and used canvas in the middle to try and bulk them up a little.  I love them!
